Uni-Grip’s Slide Out-Seal Replacement Kit is the most versatile and complete slide-out seal replacement kit available. It is a universal kit that will work with most slide-out rooms and utilizes our new patent pending Uni-Seal slide-out sealing system. The kit provides everything you will need to remove the old slide-out seal and replace it. Below you will find the details of the seals and tool kit which are included with the replacement kit. In the kit we have included the following: - 40 feet of the Uni-Seal – our patent pending slide-out seal - 20 feet of the Uni-Seal F – our “flap only” companion to the Uni-Seal for sealing the bottom of the slide-out room - The Slide-Out Seal Replacement Tool Kit (see below) The Slide-Out Seal Replacement Tool Kit includes the following: - Whizzy Wheel vinyl and adhesive remover attachment to your power drill - 1-1/2” plastic scraper tool - 60 self-tapping zinc coated screws - 1 nut driver - 4 large alcohol prep pads - Package of plastic washers - 1 tube of DAP interior/exterior silicone sealant The Uni-Seal Slide-Out sealing System includes two parts that work together to create an effective seal for nearly all slide-out room configurations. The Uni-Seal is made from durable EPDM rubber which gives it longevity and dependability. It is manufactured from two durometers of rubber to provide a solid dense section for screwing or stapling, and a sponge rubber bulb and wiper which provide a smooth wiping action and soft seal. The pull-away bulb allows for fastening the seal to the RV with ease. Simply lift up the bulb portion, fasten the screw to the seal, and the bulb will snap back to its original position. The Uni-Seal utilizes a 3-M heat-activated tape for adhesion, which is the industry standard for slide-out seals.
