VX WaveRunner was the innovative TR-1 Yamaha engine. This marine engine was a naturally-aspirated, 4-stroke, DOHC, 1049cc, fuel-injected triple, which cranked out 115hp out of the box. Interestingly, it was derived from Yamaha’s snowmobile division. The RiDE electric brake and reverse system is appreciated, which ensured easy handling and a smooth operation.
